Automatic: In most cases, you only have to enter your own email address and password and vBoxx One will do the rest. Does this not work? Then follow the steps below.

Manual: Use the IMAP and SMTP settings of your current email provider for this. These are often as follows:

IMAP Host: The URL of your provider where you can log in to view all emails.
    IMAP security: SSL / TLS
    IMAP Port: 993
    IMAP username: Your email address
IMAP Password: The password of your email.

SMTP Host: The URL of your provider where you can log in to view all emails.

In vBoxx One, press "+ New message" in the top left email app. Then you will see three dots to the left of the "send" button. There you can choose to attach a file directly to the new email message or by generating a link to the file. We always recommend choosing the latter option.

Security

  • What is Two-Factor Authentication for vBoxx One?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a way to protect your vBoxx One account from unauthorized access. It works by asking for two different authentication methods to verify of your identity. Usually the first factor is a password as you already have and the second a code.

  • Activate two-step authentication

You should always generate backup codes for 2FA. If your 2nd factor device is stolen or not working, you can use one of these codes to unlock your account. It effectively functions as a second backup method. To get the backup codes, go to your Personal Settings and look under Two-Factor Authentication Settings. Choose Generate backup codes.

    1. Login via the web browser in your vBoxx One account and search in your personal settings for "Security"
    2. Activeer hier uw Twee-factor authenticatie.
    3. Kopieer de back-upcodes naar een veilige plek zodat u die altijd kan terugvinden.
